Subject: Appointment of Gürkan Ozer as Green Destinations Representative for Istanbul and Izmir

Mr. Gürkan Ozer (Istanbul, Turkiye) has been appointed Green Destinations Representative for all Istanbul and Izmir as per 10 July 2023. This means that Mr. Ozer is authorized to deal and negotiate with any public authorities, DMOs and private entities on GSTC-Accredited destination certification, and GSTC-aligned certification of DMOs and business in Izmir and Istanbul Metropolitan city on behalf of Green Destinations.
These certification programs do not apply to large businesses outside the tourism sector, for which a dedicated GSTC-aligned certification system must be created. The initial validity of this appointment is 1 year.
