October 29th, The Turkish Republic Day : On October 29, 1923, the Turkish constitution was amended and the Grand National Assembly proclaimed the Republic of Turkey. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was named its president and Ankara its capital, and the modern state of Turkey was born. This formally declared the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire. Republic Day is celebrated throughout Turkey every year. Commemorative events usually begin in the afternoon on the previous day.

- Pick-up transfer from the Venue (Suleyman Demirel Conference Center, ITU Campus) at 18:15, drive to Bosphorus shore where we embark at the private deluxe yacht.
- Cruise down the Bosphorus Strait, 2-3 hours cruise strating at 19:00. (getting closer to beautiful Villas , Fortresses and Palaces of Bosphorus, both on the Asian & European Sides).
- Dinner with beverages (unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks during the voyage) all included

During this cruise you will have chance to see the impressive life of Istanbul. Having your dinner the old Ottoman Empire and new Istanbul style together will accompany. In the Byzantine period, when the villages along the Bosphorus strait had no roads linking them to each other, the people earned their living from fishing and gardening.

The Ottoman sultans later had several palaces and villas built on these shores. On the European Side, Some of these shores are the Feriye palaces, then Ortaköy Square and Ortaköy mosque, an attractive location where one feels the texture of the city at its best. Next, passing under the great columns of the Bosphorus Bridge, you pass by Kuruçesme, Arnavutköy, Bebek, Rumelihisari (fortress), Emirgan, Üstinye, Yeniköy, Tarabya, Kirecburnu, Büyükdere and Sariyer, finally reaching the end of the European side of the Bosphorus at Rumeli Kavagi, last point before the entrance of the Black Sea. On the Asian Side, Opposite Rumeli Kavagi is Anadolu Kavagi. South along the shore past Yusa Hill is Beykoz. Though it is quite a distance from city center, Istanbul residents usually go to eat the best fish at Beykoz. Next is Pasabahçe famous for its glass and bottle factories as well as liquor factories of the state monopoly. After Pasabahce are Çubuklu and Anadoluhisar (Anatolian Fortress) famed for the good quality of clay on the shores of the Göksu and Küçüksu, freshwater rivers that flow into the Bosphorus.
